I've been working along on the new realistic cat base for my current commission. I'm now at the stage where I'm doing test prints of the shell to make sure the eyes fit, not too heavy, I can see well, etc. It's always hard to be patient at this point because -

@Spoofi5 Please try it!! I started making suits because I was broke in college and had so much fun. Keep expectations low for your first suits so you don't get frustrated, and don't be afraid to try something unconventional to save money (ex paper suit)

How hard are fursuits to make? Where do I start..? I want to commission so bad but I like paycheck to paycheck and though I have money saved I am also chronically ill.. so I get nervous dropping thousands of dollars on stuff I don’t “need”

Definitely doing this method for attaching teeth from now on! Lil 3d printed base with prongs that I melt tiny holes in the lining fabric to let through (so the lining doesn't fray over time) and then slot the teeth on to! 3D print is glued and sewn to the base

@bamboosaber Agreed, they've gotten too big for the number of attendees. It's better for everyone if there are less vendors so everyone gets better sales and attendees aren't as overstimulated.

One trend I'm noticing is: the bigger the vendor hall, the more overwhelming for attendees and there's much less money/fewer sales to go around. The vendors in the back end up struggling the most. I really think capping vendor hall sizes is SUPER important.

FWA ATTENDEES: THEFT ALERT
Just noticed a messenger bag was stolen off my table. I haven't actually sold any of these, I JUST printed them on bags so its a brand new design, if you see it walking around it's stolen. Please alert staff with identification of the thief if found.

I finally got my foaming TPU settings dialed in!! I'll have three of these guys at FWA for $175, $35 for matching ears. They take three days to print and over an hour to assemble so that's the most I could do. 😅 Swing by early if you want one! I'll be selling the foaming -
