Indeed I tried, for some time. But the truth is, I sometimes fantasise about being small and vital to someone big and powerful.

I had an unrestrained dream about my university lecturer. I woke up feeling amused at myself, but there was also the feeling of longing, which soared in particular when I next saw him in class, as compelling as he’d been in the dream.

Can't get a wife out of the queen for now. 💵

In popular Nigerian music, we are missing the confident, raunchy rapstress: our unique dating culture would deliver an endless well of interesting bars. But it is unlikely that we ever get this because immodest women seem to be Public Enemy #2 in Nigeria (only behind gay people).

A wig is both a declaration of personal style and a means for social validation. Wigs even provide a means through which women compete with one another. When a woman wears a bad wig, the people who point it out, often cruelly, are usually other women.
