@sturatcliffe Hi Stuart, sorry about this, the 12:10 has been altered and is now starting from Northampton. Your uncle should be able to get the delated 12:51 which is scheduled to depart at 13:10 -Leah
@LNRailway hi my elderly uncle is waiting at long Buckby for the 1210.. he is saying screens just say delayed and no new timings ? When will the next one be ? He has a connection in Bham for Bristol parkway ..
@kylieminogue Hi Kylie. It’s been my 50th bday this week and my present from my 7 year old Padam loving son was this picture of your Tension album cover. I’m taking him and his 9 year old sister to see you in Birmingham next year we are super excited !!!
@StothardTV Wishing you the very best mate. It was always a joy to bump into you out on the road. You’ll smash it… talent like yours always rises to the top !!
After nearly ten fantastic years at ITV News, during which I've worked with brilliant people in all corners of ITV and latterly ITN, the time has come for a change!
I'm going freelance and available to work as of October. Showreel available here --> youtu.be/OLBTtDHCdMA?si…
I’m loving my new T shirt from @NorthamptonShoe . I was there in 2015 filming for @BBCLookEast when the infamous “Mouth of Hell” bit the dust !! By the way @NorthamptonShoe exhibition on Titanic well worth a look .. my kids loved it
@nosylocaljourno It was .. I spent two hours at Euston and then just got back to Northampton now waiting for train to long buckby .. hot hot hot and grumpy grumpy grumpy 😡
Got to #Northampton station on time, no trains coming out of London/MK to connect to Liverpool. Got on train to #Rugby where AGAIN the (woman) station assistant found me a route on an Edinburgh train that had been rerouted. Amazing help, because it looks like chaos down south atm
@campervanwoman Agree a poor choice of words, but don’t agree it is always exploitative. 11 years after our surrogate journey began and 2 kids later, our surrogate, her husband and her children are a treasured part of our family. We have the same relationship with our egg donor and her family ❤️
@wonder000@immaggi She said she chucked the embryos into her - like she was nothing more than a vessel. This was after she had experienced multiple miscarriages. That doesn't sound warm to me. It sounds exploitative.
Listening to Desert Island Discs. Whoever it is, a business woman, is talking about surrogacy. I'm sure she thinks she's being very sensitive, "we had a *wonderful* surrogate", who had several miscarriages. But finally, they had two embryos left and "we kind of chucked them in >
A short 🧵
I’m puzzled. All the parties knew an election was due 2024. And everyone knows your chances of winning are improved if you “bed in”: locals get to know you, you get to know the area. So why are so many constituencies scrabbling to find someone - anyone - to stand??
#tbf Then and now. Fridays used to be the highlight of my working week, mainly because of this young buck. Reunited on Wednesday and it was GLORIOUS @sturatcliffe
@AvantiWestCoast 1618 from Preston but tbh they are all the same .. I was on the 1209 from Crewe today and all seats looked the same too. Not a massive issue but just a shame after such a comprehensive refresh
@sturatcliffe Hi Stuart, thanks for letting us know, that's not great to see, which service are you on so I can get this reported to our fleet department? Regarding the sockets, do you mention it to the onboard staff who will be able to assist? - Pete
@AvantiWestCoast your recent refresh of the Pendolinos is not standing the test of time .. every arm rest on every train I’ve been on looks like this after just several months. Also the last two trains I’ve been on the plug sockets haven’t worked
At the age of 80 my dad has had surgery for the first time. Thanks to the staff at Addenbrooke’s @CUH_NHS spending their bank holiday weekend in the operating theatre.
