@RinoTheBouncer This is basically unemployed vs employed people on any multiplayer game

@NoContextBrits Back bacon vs rashers… both exist in the UK… you just don’t see much back bacon in the US… and nobody knows what Canadian bacon is…

@NerosCinema nothing triggers you treyarch fanboys more than MW19... ya'll honestly think cold ward was better...
English

The rose tinted glasses for MW19 are in full effect. Its easily the worst COD of all-time for me, but I sorta get it
This game got a lot of people through COVID. Plus its been 6 years, so they remember all the good instead of the glaring bad

@TXMCtrades thank god you're here to explain the complexities of oil refining to people - I'm sure they didn't even know the difference between sweet and sour
English

The US is not energy independent. We could hypothetically try to force ourselves to use only the oil we produce but without proper refinery retooling we would reduce efficiency, lower output, and raise costs. I doubt David Sacks understands this complexity.
David Sacks@DavidSacks
This is a smart strategy. Thanks to President Trump, the U.S. is energy independent. The countries that actually depend on Gulf oil should apply pressure to reopen the strait.

@JohnCleese You’re so clever Mr Cleese - perhaps you can tell us all what language other than violence the regime in Tehran understands? You spend months bleating over the plight of the Iranian people screeching “will nobody do anything!?” - what was your plan?

NEW: Jared Kushner, one of the U.S. government’s chief negotiators in the Middle East, is working to raise $5B for his private equity firm from governments in the region, the New York Times reports. His team has already met with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which previously invested $2B in the firm. Corruption in broad daylight.

@trad_west_ The was indeed a "Christian Century" in Japan but it was largely driven by the fact that a Daimyo converting would get them favourable trade with the Portuguese - and most importantly weapons.. See book by same title written by Charles Boxer

I said from day one that reelecting this guy would mean a fleecing of our national coffers to a degree we've never fucking seen before, and it has been that and more. Actually worse than I expected because I (apparently naively) believed Congress would be the check and balance they're designed to be, but they've done zero. They are completely feckless. They have no voice nor perceived authority because they themselves are split into tiny competing factions within the same party as the Chief exec destroys their odds of retaining a majority in Nov. We're now at war with Iran and the president did it all without their consent. It has never been a Dem or Repub thing for me, both parties are the same cabal of elites, it has always been about Trump's sociopathy and lack of any perceivable ethics, and we're absolutely getting what purchased now. The problem for a system of checks and balances is when someone shows up with the boldness to defy those rules, and the system fails to stand up for itself. That's how institutions erode and a republic eventually dies. We're well on the path now.

About 300 people unfollowed me since I began covering the January protests and the massacre of more than 40,000 Iranians.
Hundreds also followed.
Among the unfollowing some probably just want Bitcoin content. Understandable. But I got into Bitcoin mostly because it represented an effort for freedom. I would be selfish and inconsistent to not care about the quest of 80M people for freedom. Bluntly you’d be too.
Others are ideologues, islamists, woke right and woke left. To these I say: never come back please.
As an anon I won’t share much about myself and my activism in real life, but I would say that I am not the random Iran poster. I am intimately familiar with the ground reality, and involved for decades. So please just don’t tell me “this is not your area”. Most people who say this have only learned about Iran from their popular partisan and biased media source so do yourself a favor, read my content with an open mind to learn something outside your bubble.
