it’s funny how some pc guys hate Nintendo for exclusivity when this quote by Gabe Newell himself says it the best

Instead of telling people why something can't be done, these devs should be listening to the audience and thinking ahead for future titles, so EOL plans are front and foremost at the start of development.

“Making it technically work and making it actually enjoyable as a game are different things.” Japanese devs weigh in on why retrofitting live-service games with offline support is harder than gamers think automaton-media.com/en/news/making…

違います。
弓道は比較的新しい武道です。
原型は明治維新後、今の形になったのは戦後です。
歴史の長短で優劣のつく物ではありませんが、間違った情報は良くない。

This is Kyudo (弓道), our ancient Japanese tradition passed down from samurai times for over 2000 years. In this modern age, seeing Japanese people preserve this pure samurai spirit makes us proud. Protect our traditions. 🎌

Actually people didn't play it because it was bad.
Anyway play Pragmata instead it's the better Dad simulator anyway even over TLOU1

Imagine not playing this game just because the character kisses another girl 💀

>"Pragmata is just an Op to convince people to be parents"
Consider that almost every piece of media you have ever consumed produced in the past 60 years was designed to discourage you from being a parent.
You see one piece of media that doesn't make parenthood look like a nightmare and it shocks you.
Something to ponder.

@Saturnoxe @777workout @ogivus Even if both are losses, scanning and uploading manga online for everyone to read is on a completely different scale from just lending a manga to a friend.
And more than a matter of law, this is about respect for creators and the shared understanding within the community.
English

@su_inko @777workout @ogivus But regardless of whether it’s allowed or not, the author still suffers a loss, doesn’t he? The main thing here seems to be following the law; it gives the impression that it’s okay for the author to suffer losses as long as it’s permitted.

Nintendo is exclusive because they often build the games around the hardware they create.
Mode 7
Motion Controls
Dual Screens
And that exclusivity sells consoles.

Nintendo porting to PC would be more beneficial to players rather than detrimental. Exclusivity only hurts the consumer.

@Saturnoxe @777workout @ogivus a shop and make money by renting out that game, I could get into trouble depending on whether I have permission. That is also why doujin can be accepted in Japan. If the copyright holder says no, like Cygames with Umamusume, very few people would try to challenge the rights holder
English

@Saturnoxe @777workout @ogivus Library is a place people generally accept as authorized for access to books. Piracy is not authorized, so it is not okay. Whether "permission" was given or not is extremely important. For example, if I buy a game and lend it to a friend, that is completely fine. But if I open 1/2
English

@777workout @ogivus Once it's available at a library or media center, is it no longer considered theft?

Progress on my project has been a bit slow, but this week I've managed to get some parts of the UI done.
