I truly hated him and the whole PSG team for completely wasting the gods gift that they got ( Messi). Had they played around him , this success of PSG in UCL would have come long time ago and he would have at least two Ballon d’Ors. But I guess this is everybody’s destiny. I think he now understands it.

And even tonight, he's got words. France was not in shape to play this semi final. Totally deserve both way

If Argentina qualifies tomorrow, this will be the first World Cup final that many fans will watch with an open mind, especially Messi and Barcelona fans. If Messi wins, it will be his second World Cup and, most likely, his ninth Ballon d’Or. If Spain wins, it will be Lamine Yamal’s first World Cup trophy. Either way, it’s a win-win. I prayed for days like this.

@Pras_fpl Argentina absolutely has it to beat Spain. England doesn’t. It will be a Spain vs Argentina final and my money will be on Argentina. No other team understands Spanish system more than Messi. He will know how to beat it.

To be honest, neither Argentina nor England are good enough to beat this Spanish team in the final. Anything is possible of course. But it’s a case of hoping to get lucky.

France midfield is very bad. It’s sad that you did not see it earlier. I have watched Lucas Digne for over a year with Barcelona and he is tier 4 midfielder. Rabiot in his current form is either tier 2 or 3. And Spain made sure that olise can’t dictate the game. Without service neither Mbappe nor Dembele can do anything. They are not Messi!

Spain has played 6 of their 7 games in climate controlled stadiums. England France Argentina had fewer. Before the tournament started I said the team with the most games in these types of stadiums will survive. Spain thrived and then some.

This game proves the importance of midfield. France had the best attack but a poor midfield means the attack gets no service and becomes toothless.
