Ppl saying that their sons will take care of them, as if everyone has sons. And with this mindset what’s wrong if people only want sons and not daughters because daughters won’t live with them and sons will. That’s the custom, so it’s cool.. let parents choose and have boys only.

If a son gets a separate house for his wife, everyone starts worrying about who'll take care of the man's parents etc but no one talks about the girl's parents because this is so called CUSTOM for a girl to leave parent's house after marriage.

I truly acknowledge their sacrifices because they’ve overprotected and over-sacrificed. There’s a life beyond them, and I need to be prepared for it. Who will protect me then?

@ohho_mariyam @Aureliaa____ Sabke finances nhi allow karte, but yes inherently is concept ko abandonment nhi maan’na chahiye. Phir log kyun nhi beta chahenge.. aur beti k hone pe kyun dukhi nahi honge, beti toh shadi k bad abandon kar k chali jaati beta hi toh rehta saath.
