It's probably worth waiting a bit to see if Iran actually gave Trump everything he was demanding in exchange for nothing other than a cessation of bombing in Iran and Lebanon. I know Trump said so on Truth Social but it's possible that's not the complete story.

Trump is Trump because he is Trump, not some crying, sobbing keyboard warrior who is offended by everything and lives in an idealistic world, does a lot of talking, but would fold if they faced even 1% of what Trump deals with every day.

It is absolute madness in Iran. The ceasefire has made the surviving regime rabid and intoxicated. These parades reportedly happen all the time, including nighttime where they will scream islamic chants and intimidate normal Iranians trying to sleep. If anyone complains, or even speaks to other people, the regime will arbitrarily arrest them on invented charges. Do not abandon Iran, President Trump. Do not forget your initial promise was to help the people, not impose a nuclear deal.

With communists, Islamists, separatists, and foreign meddling all circling , you can't rule purely on merit and clean hands. Can't you see what kind of people he was dealing with? You need a coalition of loyal elites, military, and business types who benefit from the system. It's a gradual progress. Same applies to all the rich middle eastern countries. Iran's gdp was 5 times that of South Korea in 1970. Literacy rate was 50% (very high for non western countries that time). Iran's gdp per capita equivalent to eastern European countries. Freedom of religion, no mandatory islamic clothings. No war cause Iran respected by all its neighbours for its close ties with the US and it's modern defense system. Yes there was no political freedom but all the GCC countries are the same even today. What was Iran like before his father took over the country? You could accomplish so much in 50 years.
