he is a PRODUCER not a director meaning he isnt the one MAKING the movie, hes more just the quality control guy. and I sure as hell trust this guy, who's probably dedicated more of his life to BLOODBORNE than you have dedicated your life to ANYTHING, to make sure its a good movie
