@joelvmoran The general public / media still ignoring what Tim Connelly said in black in white after the KAT trade. The move was made to get below the 2nd apron (not to save money), but to create roster and trade flexibility to pair ant with another superstar. Randle was never the end game.

@JRD_1000 I hope you’re right, but ignoring our lack of draft assets is a very large part of this you chose to ignore. OKC/SA have arguably better rosters AND way more draft assets.

Ant is 24 Jaden is 25 Naz is 26 Top 10 trio in the league all locked down for years. Plus Beringer & Shannon. MIN isn’t a title roster; but the idea that their window is closed akin to DEN whose star is over 30 and only rotation players under 28 are Braun and Jones… is crazy.

@pie_1414 You're living in another universe trying to justify this take. Everyone on the planet knows it was about Julius Randle and then there is you. Look at how he played last year vs this year after the ASB when his name was on the trade block. This is not rocket science.

Mcdaniels is famous for being moody and getting himself in foul trouble & stops shooting when things dont go his way. Gobert is also moody and calls players out publicly and deviates from the game plan like he did on Wemby. Finch called him out on it by name. It’s not just Randle

@pie_1414 @JonKrawczynski Were you happy with Randle's defensive effort in a closeout game at home? Do you think multiple players were referring to another player other than Randle when mentioning "moodiness" in their exit interviews/end of game PCs?

this alt started from scratch so i tried to minmax all bonus rolls, crests & crafts avail. if you also want to try & follow what i did if you decide to gear a mistweaver alt here's a list :) -maisara caverns: 1h weap, helm, shoulders, cloak, belt, (unfortunately i rolled the trinket, was hoping not to) -heroic paladins: spent my last 2 hoping for Litany & i got it -auction house: legs, feet (catalyze the cheap ones) -crafts: offhand, ring, chest, bracers & neck

eight bonus rolls + two AH boes & i geared my alt mistweaver in just a few hours. 280 ilvl & i'm left w/ 650 myth crest to farm & max out my crafts + myth pieces. aside from grinding out crest, gearing alts feels so good this xpac knowing you're not falling behind on vaults~

I love the Quinn debate. Keeping both Devils and Wild fans busy. Truth is I can honestly see it go either way. I think he doesn’t know what he wants. Based on their history the family will meet over the summer and discuss. This is a VERY tight family and I doubt they make any decisions without sitting around the table and talking. Either way I win.. haha I am devils fan but will be living in Minn at least the next 4 years…

@PhilMackey I want to think Jaden can become the #2, but not certain of that based on this series and inconsistent 3% shooting in the playoffs. Randle definitely needs to be upgraded. Donte would be back by next years playoffs, so not sure his injury affects us next year

Well, let's see here... KAT shot 26% in the first 3 games of that Dallas WCF -- effectively shipwrecking the series. The Wolves correctly moved his increasingly expensive contract for *three* assets -- Julius Randle, DDV + Joan Beringer -- and STILL went back to the WCF... Put these Wolves in the East, and it's likely they're a Finals team last year or this year. Put those Knicks in the West, and they're getting run in the 2nd round by OKC or San Antonio. It's a shame DDV blew his achilles, because that injury changes the trajectory of this year's AND next year's Wolves. If Wolves can move Julius for a lower-usage, higher-efficiency, better-fit role player this summer, the KAT trade only gets better...

The Minnesota Wild (104 pts) were the 3rd best team in the West this season. They should’ve played the 6-seed Mammoth (92 pts). Instead, they played the 2-seed Stars (112 pts)… and took care of business. Their reward? The 1-seed Avs (121 pts). Just absolutely ridiculous.
