I worked so hard on this for years
we made this with our hands. through our passion for the craft, and love for the gaang
being massive fans made every line so intimidating, so I'm really proud of us

We worked on the aang movie for years with the expectation that’d we’d get to celebrate all of our hard work in theaters.. just to see people unceremoniously leak the film and pass our shots around on twitter like candy.. (1/3)

I worked on this film as an artist too. So incredibly proud of it.
I understand fans who engage in leaks once they're out there, I get it. The issue is the release, the one we all worked towards for years, being neutered by both Paramount and the leakers. It could have been (1/3)

2021 - The animating process wasn’t too hard because the animatic was so damn good. the most stressful part was to get the rough done in a few weeks, while keeping characters on model and scale accurate. Had to get it done before I went on to supervise Monkie Kid Season 3 after.

@suckuga Good to know the clipping issues aren't unique, then hahaha
I'll give the composite swaps a go when I play around with the 3D ground planes next time! Thank you for your suggestion! :)

@StormStarDragon yep, ive had this alot... the 3d/zspacing can be very fickle in toonboom, my immediate thought is that you had a color card maybe? setting ur composite nodes to '2D' would b my first suggestion to fix!
If not, yea its probs just b toonboom haha

Have you ever had clipping issues when using such large 3D spaces in Harmony? I've found the camera to cut off planes that stretch so far back. :o

Regarding The Legend of Aang going straight to streaming: I'm devastated. As both a massive fan and an artist on the movie, it's heartbreaking.
Everything I've seen from this film has been absolutely gorgeous, it really was made to be seen on the big screen.
