Periodic trainings are planned to build a well-equipped disaster management team in the future.

Smt. Susmita Behera, Executive Director from OSDMA, Smt. Lipika Dash, Joint Relief Commissioner from SRC, Shri Prasanta Das, Director, OFDRA & Chief Fire Officer & Shri Subrat Mishra, Deputy Director, SIRD and officials & resource persons from OSDMA, UNICEF and other agencies.

A 3-day training program was held from January 4th-6th,2024, organized by OSDMA & H&UD Dept. The goal was to enhance the skills of City Managers & Community Organizers to effectively handle pandemic situations. It focused on strategies for managing key issues during disasters.

Subsequent to the training, the Master Trainers will train the members of MSGs who have got work-order under MUKTA. H&UDD, Govt. of Odisha has targeted to train 600 such Master Trainers across 115 ULBs in the state.

15 members selected from #MissionShakti SHGs participated in the 1st Batch of Capacity Building Programme. The focus was to provide clarity on various types of MUKTA interventions & visit to the field to understand how MSGs have played a key role in the execution of projects.

As part of the strategy to lay a strong implementation base under the Transformative Agenda of Govt. of Odisha, a two-day Capacity Building Programme for Master Trainers of MUKTA was organized on 21st & 22nd November 2023 for Ganjam Cluster at Chhatrapur. #OdishaEmpowersWomen

Today marked a significant step under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble CM @Naveen_Odisha towards #urbandevelopment & #empowerment as BMC distributed work orders for projects under the #MUKTA and #JagaMission initiatives.
