Ontario: When ERs are asking for MDs/other staff "extenders" to fill RN shifts to operate safely, it's time to #RepealBill124. If RNs are the backbone of our system, let's stop breaking their backs so that we can all stand up for patient care.

I’m going to play this clip over and over because that last little bit brought me to tears. And this might just save hearts and minds - it’s that brilliant and that profound (and important). ♥️😭

It shouldn't be necessary to point this out, but the benefits of project-based learning will be extremely limited if the teacher, rather than the students, designs the projects. Here’s one example of doing it right: ow.ly/sTnio

@FeliciaHiscock I'm out too! Just another wat to keep the poor poor as the rich will find a way. I hate this political squashing of rights!

My mom is incredibly sick and in the hospital right now. I can't even stay with her because of COVID restrictions. She has a history of health concerns. We don't know what's wrong, and it's the hardest thing to not be beside her at this time. Please keep her in your prayers.

This week the students in 5S @Lorneparkps worked on activities that centred their own identity. Who are we? What makes us unique? What are our interests? Who & what is important to us? This self reflection & discovery was then communicated through Word Art Selfies @PeelSchools

Before wondering if your curriculum is antiracist, ask yourself if YOU are. Even the greatest lesson will fall flat if the person teaching it hasn’t done the internal work first. Antiracism isn’t just a lesson, it’s a lifestyle.

When colleges stop requiring the SAT or ACT, it "seem[s] to result in more diversity among students not only who apply but who enroll." And "there is no meaningful difference in academic performance among students admitted with and without test scores": is.gd/YhwJPX
