@MTNCameroon When did cash deposits start having charges? I didn't opt for a business sim. I made a cash deposit and I am automatically charged 1% of the sum? This is very unfair and unacceptable!!!

@g_diets_ If you don't buy these snacks and juices for your children, people would think that you can't afford them or you're just been stingy. The children too might start thinking otherwise by doing ojukokoro in schools when they see other children eating these snacks and juices

I am angry today. And I am going to tell you why. I walked into a supermarket yesterday. Just to buy water. And I stood in the snack aisle for five minutes looking at what Nigerian parents are feeding their children. Every single item on that shelf was wheat flour, sugar, seed oil, and artificial flavouring. Every. Single. One. Biscuits? Wheat, sugar, vegetable oil. Chin chin? Wheat, sugar, vegetable oil. Packaged cakes? Wheat, sugar, vegetable oil. Fruit drinks? Sugar water with a picture of an orange on the box. Cereals? Sugar coated in more sugar and sprayed with synthetic vitamins so they can print “fortified” on the front. And the prices? A family spending 2,000 a day on snacks is spending 60,000 a month on food that is actively destroying their children’s metabolic health. For that same 60,000, you could buy eggs, fish, vegetables, yam, plantain, palm oil, and coconut oil. Real food. The kind that builds brains, bones, and immune systems instead of diabetes at 30. The food industry does not care about your child’s health. It cares about repeat purchases. And the easiest way to guarantee repeat purchases is to make food addictive. Sugar does that. MSG does that. Artificial flavouring does that. Your child is not choosing these foods. They are being engineered to crave them. And you are paying for the engineering. Read the label. Count the ingredients. If it has more chemicals than food, put it back on the shelf. Your child’s future is worth more than convenience. If you want a clear, practical way to feed your family without the confusion, send a message on WhatsApp: +2349118909688 for a well-structured meal plan. Share this with every parent you know.

I really don't like the fact that cornchaff traveled across the Moungo and turned into 'kontchap'. That pronunciation breaks my soul.

I can’t believe we even have to say this, but when someone is starting a new job at your workplace, be patient and kind. People rarely forget those who showed them kindness.

My secondary school classmate is currently battling with stroke, and the whole situation still feels unreal to me. He fixes phones for a living, extremely skilled with his hands, quiet, hardworking, and dedicated to his craft. When the illness first struck, many of us thought it might have been spiritual attacks from jealous colleagues. You know how people talk. His family took him from one hospital to another, searching for answers. Test after test, the doctors kept saying the same thing, medically, they couldn’t find anything seriously wrong that explained his condition. Because he is deeply devoted to the church, they intensified their prayers. Different pastors prayed. Vigils were held. Fasting. Yet, nothing changed. Out of desperation, the family decided to consult a traditional healer. The native doctor said it wasn’t an ordinary sickness, that neither hospital treatment nor church prayers would solve it. According to him, the only way for our classmate to recover was for him to accept a spiritual calling he had been running from. He claimed our classmate was destined to become the next chief priest of his village, a dibia (Dubai Anya nzu), and that both he and his family had known about it for years. He said hiding in the church wouldn’t change that destiny. That accepting the calling was the only way out. As I heard the story on our WhatsApp group, I didn’t even know what to believe. It sounded like something out of a movie or a fairy tale, not real life. But the painful truth is this, our classmate is still there, still suffering, still fighting. And I’m left wondering how life can suddenly turn into something that feels like a story you would never believe if you didn’t witness it yourself. Do you know anyone who have challenge and what was actually done?

You are stepping into your “Joseph season.” Just like Joseph: >you were falsely diminished >betrayed by the one who should have covered you >thrown into a pit of emotional and spiritual chaos >forgotten by those who should have honored you >lied on >stripped of dignity >punished for righteousness And just like Joseph…... God is now elevating you in full view of the people who misjudged you.

@sheilatebra Fasting and prayer aren't meant to change God’s mind; they are meant to change our hearts so we can align with His will. Fasting is about starving the flesh to hear God better, not starving ourselves to force God’s hand.
