I never truly thought we could get into the playoffs, but a win last night would have certainly made things interesting. The team is just so infuriatingly inconsistent.

We’ve seen this over and over again, what on earth happens at HT. But shouldn’t have got to this, Cannon must score his chance

That’s a great goal all round, determination and desire from Cannon to win the ball, then a really nice quickly taken finish

FANS’ FORUM ANNOUNCED. The SUFC Fan Advisory Board is pleased to announce that we will be holding our first Fans’ Forum of 2026. The forum will take place on February 19th from 7pm onwards at The Pavilion, Bramall Lane.

The game was lost after 6 minutes with an avoidable goal with a lucky deflection. What followed was just so, so poor from us and they weren’t much better. But we had that Bamford chance and could have snatched a point.

Absolutely hammering them, creating chances, hit the post, well in control, then suddenly down to 9 men! The first no complaints, a poor first touch and a bad tackle. Then I cannot understand the second at all.

Credit to Mansfield, sold out the away end, played fantastic and deserved to win.

A top performance tonight, absolutely dominated them for most of the game. Scored some fantastic goals as well. They say Leicester have some top players, but they certainly didn’t show it; very poor team.

A very weak red card for me, would be furious if that was given against us. Still had a lot of pitch to run into and a player coming to cover. But will take it obviously!

Please, blades. Don’t let it happen again.

A reasonable half, had our spells, COH probably should have done better? Soumaré looking decent, which probably shows how bad Stoke are!

We had that good run of results, and good job we did. We are a poor, poor team still deep in a relegation battle.

This season is simply about staying up, getting rid of all the dross, and starting fresh next season.

You just knew the defence was going to be a shambles tonight from when we let them back into the game a minute after going in front with an own goal.
