Im getting flamed for this but i see him as a yellow flag.. he is just a complex character and i think its more emotional based then player He is probably in love with pik but is just scared maybe some attachment issues maybe some traumatic experiences we dont know but you can see how guilty and sad he looked when he saw pik skipped practice to come to see him..

@iluv_tmkpttp YES YES YES!! People need to see Jai's perspective too. He has no idea how Pik feels. Jai clearly likes him and gives mixed signals, but when Pik never responds, he leans on different people to cope. We feel bad for Pik because we know his feelings, Jai doesn't.

Okay, even though I find Jai to be a walking 🚩 in some scenes, I don't want to judge him entirely based on the pilot. This is just my little theory as someone who loves angst. 🥹 1st, "I'll stop dating from now on. I'll be your friend forever", That line carries more weight than it seems. It made me wonder if, in Jai's mind, keeping Pik in his life mattered more than pursuing anyone else,even if he only knew how to call that relationship "friendship." (but bro just can't stop tho😭👊🏽) 2nd, the birthday scene. When Pik surprised Jai, I couldn't stop looking at Jai's expression after the girl appeared. He hesitated... then said, "Yes... my friends," while looking at Pik.Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it didn't feel natural. It felt like he suddenly became conscious of Pik's presence, almost as if he cared about how Pik would take the situation. 3rd, the sick scene. This is probably the scene that made Pik's moms the maddest. 😭 But here's another thought...What if Jai really was alone when he called Pik, and his date arrived while Pik was on the way? If that's the case, his "I was just joking" line could've been an awkward attempt to cover the situation instead of proof that he intentionally played with Pik's feelings. Or maybe he genuinely thought it was just a harmless joke. If Jai believes Pik only sees him as a friend, why would he expect Pik to drop everything, buy medicine, and rush over? Maybe he thought Pik would just laugh it off. Lastly~the argument.I'm not defending Jai because those words were cruel. Calling Pik "irrational" and "immature" hurt.But what if Jai genuinely doesn't understand why Pik reacted that way? What if, to him, Pik has always been "there," so he never realizes how deeply Pik cares or how deeply his own actions affect him? Maybe that's why Jai keeps crossing lines without noticing. Because in his mind, they're "just friends."Yet... the way he looks at Pik doesn't exactly scream just friends. Maybe the mixed signals only exist because we're seeing everything through Pik's perspective. Or maybe Jai has feelings too... he just hasn't realized them yet. This reminds me a little of Duang With You. At first, many people judged Qin because we only saw the story through Duang's perspective. Later, we realized Qin had his own reasons and emotions that completely changed how we viewed him. I'm not saying Jai is the same. But maybe the pilot is doing exactly that~inviting us to question our first impressions before we finally hear Jai's side of the story. And if I'm right... I don't want Jai to get away with it easily. 😂I want the angst. I want Pik to actually leave. I want Jai to realize what he lost only after Pik is truly gone. Then let him chase Pik with everything he has. Because from a writer's perspective... that's where the story hurts the most, and that's where the payoff is the sweetest.🤭 Now excuse me while I patiently (or impatiently 😭) wait for the full series.
