DVH, as good as he is, hasn’t learned that about “gamers.” That’s his been his biggest downfall. There’s guys that just show up on gameday…and you have to trust that.

Ya, you’re way off on this one.
The throw was to the base, same line it’d be on if the 1B had his foot on the base.
There’s nothing that says where a receiving player has to be on a pick-off attempt.
He stepped off. He could throw it to the moon and it’s not a balk.
