@jasonsole8 @braddavo @matt_nevett_ It’s all hindsight - I thought she would most likely win pre race, but very often we see lightly raced horses get to 2000m first time and improve staying at the trip next start. The trip needs distance seasoning and she lacked it. To avoid the distance off one run is silly

@Sultan_Racing @braddavo @matt_nevett_ I would suggest the lead up is as much her undoing as anything . Certainly beaten by horses who had the right lead ups. I have heard from a few people she didn't seem to parade as per normal, now I have no idea on that you guys would know better with your contacts .

How can anyone say Autumn Glow didn’t get 2000m? At her first attempt, she ran 3rd fastest last 200m off ultra fast tempo and beat home Dubai Honour. She ran 2000m but ultimately just wasn’t good enough on the day because the winner relished it + had better setup 🤷‍♂️

@braddavo @matt_nevett_ She surely got 2000m didn’t she? Had no cover down the back, very fast tempo. Beaten by two horses that have multiple 1800m+ runs between them and more economical runs

@matt_nevett_ Look at the way she travelled up- she would have won easily over a mile. She was wandering about in straight and Lindermann got past her. Not to say she won't run it in future but she certainly didn't on Saturday with the brutal tempo and 1500m lead up- Her heart got her that far
