I went to a shelter to get a dog and I saw this brindle laying on the hard ground. I made eye contact with him and he got up and he brought a tennis ball over. I asked to see him and I was told he was returned two times because he was too wild and cried all the time. When he was brought back to his cage he cried. It broke my heart. I told the man I wanted him. He told me I'd be sorry. When we got home I worked with him and changed things so he'd be comfortable. He has bad separation anxiety. Everything worked out. He's my pal. We play catch with tennis balls daily. His name is Popeye. 🤗❤

Unfortunately, years of obsessive DEI practices and the prioritisation of diversity over merit have led many Australians to question whether these women were selected based on genuine qualifications or simply as DEI hires. Were more capable individuals overlooked so that politicians could grandstand? This situation is entirely the fault of the woke left and the Labor government in Australia. These women should distance themselves from being paraded as props for progress and firmly reject the constant framing of their appointments around diversity.

We’re coming back from the shelter. The whole ride, he kept looking at me like this, not really knowing where he was going. I could see the confusion in his eyes, a mix of uncertainty and hope. He probably thinks he's going to another place, another cage, another lonely night. But what he doesn’t know yet is that this time is different. He’s going to a real home. No more cold floors or empty walls. Just warmth, love, and a family. His journey is just beginning, and I’ll be there every step of the way.
