1/9 🚀 Want to hear a story about the fastest growing productivity app of all time? 1 million users in 84 days. That's 2x faster than any productivity app in history. But here's the kicker: we did it with $0 in marketing. Our secret? We killed PowerPoint's biggest pain point.

Everyone in Indian tech is arguing about Emergent's ARR - whether the number is real, how it's measured, whether it holds up to scrutiny. That debate is cosmetic and superficial. ARR is an output. The harder question is structural: what kind of business are you actually building when your core capability is rented from a company quietly building the same product? Is Emergent a high-growth tenant about to get hollowed out - or is it building a moat that Anthropic structurally cannot reach? I wrote up both cases in full. Bear and bull, with the rationale behind each: x.com/sumanthr/statu…

With AI lowering barriers to build profitable businesses, 99.9% of VCs are now competing to fund the same 0.1% of truly venture-scale opportunities. The bar to generate venture-scale returns has never been higher.
Hemant Mohapatra@MohapatraHemant

Used to be that only 1% of founders should raise VC $s. Now with AI, only 0.1% of founders should. The bar to build a profitable $1-5m ARR business has never been lower. The bar to build a $500m+ business has never been higher. The VC model exists only for the latter.

SPRY has built AI agents that hit 90% healthcare claim acceptance. $100M processed in 18 months. The edge? India's 20-year back-office experience in US healthcare became front-office AI advantage. Every messy workflow you understand deeply is an AI opportunity waiting to happen

Browsers don't just display websites, they decide which reality users inhabit. When AI companies control the interface, they control which facts become truth. Read why AI companies are executing Silicon Valley's oldest playbook: linkedin.com/pulse/interfac…

The browser wars ended twenty years ago. Google won. Guess what? They're starting again. This time, OpenAI and Perplexity are not just building browsers because they love that market space. The battle is for the operating system for human attention.

Ben Horowitz once said: "Nobody cares." And perhaps that's the most honest thing anyone in Silicon Valley has said in years. Software is eating the world's homework. And we're not just funding it. We're cheering it on. Read the full post below 👇 linkedin.com/pulse/software…

When "momentum is the moat" becomes venture capital orthodoxy, product doesn't matter. Ethics don't matter. The homework doesn't matter. What matters is capturing attention now to justify existence tomorrow.

Marc Andreessen promised "software would eat the world." His VC firm just funded something more corrosive: software that eats the world's homework. Eating trust as the aperitif.

The next wave of AI winners won't be about building the smartest models. It'll be about building the most useful value propositions. Zoca proves AI's most radical proposition might be its most practical: technology that simply works. Full analysis: saasboomi.org/saas/ai/zocas-…

Creating a new category: Not another marketing tool, but "agent-led growth infrastructure." To quip: "Just as Shopify empowered retail entrepreneurs, Zoca is becoming the growth OS for time-based businesses." The future of software is agentic, vertical, outcome-first.

The Zenoti playbook, evolved: First-gen vertical SaaS like Zenoti proved Indian startups could dominate "boring" global markets. Zoca represents the next evolution: extending vertical SaaS into an AI-first environment. From management tools → autonomous agents that never sleep.

This AI startup just raised $6M to solve what $47B in AI marketing spend completely ignores. While everyone builds ChatGPT wrappers for enterprises, Zoca found something boring but refreshing: customers who actually need what they're selling.
