I desire to be married. Did my best to work on myself so Allah can bless me with the type of man I want. I'm currently with someone, and though I wish we were already married, Allah has decided it isn't time.
You have to shift your mind from feeling and being ashamed of your singlehood, to focusing on understanding why Allah chose so and being grateful to Him for that.
Allah ﷻ says be grateful and I'll give you more.
Be grateful He allowed you to reach maturity before getting married so you could pick right. And focus how best to pick right.
Be grateful He allowed you get to the point where you desire it enough to seek it, and choose to seek it through Him.
Why would you disown yourself from your own parents house because you're ashamed you aren't married at 31? Or are your parents pressuring and shaming you?
This is what I did to come to this point I am.
May Allah ease my affairs and yours.
