@aim20371231 I agree, I believe she's just a little ignorant girl who's too bedazzled and obsessed with Japan's history... I love that perspective of Tougou learning with Yuuna as they explore bits of the culture from other parts of the world!

@sumicarps However, her attitude actually seems to have softened with age. Perhaps, in the end, the adult Togo, who explores the world with Yuna, will realize that racism was just a foolish mistake she made in her youth.

@sumicarps Some people develop a misguided sense of patriotism from being exposed to the internet from a young age. However, in most cases, they realize their foolishness by the time they become adults. Her case was probably just a temporary phenomenon like the one described above.
