@onwriterside is a great step toward keeping tech docs close to the source—better than markdown and DIY libraries. It brings features making it a go-to tool for technical documentation. But like many organizations, we love Confluence. Without an ADF exporter, that's not a reality

I think I enjoyed the company and the discussion around astrophysics over seeing the northern lights.

For me, this year was about reflection, Ops, and networking. The incremental progress towards evolving CQRS/ES/DDD space feels right on track. Glad to see myself on the wrap-up poster @AxonIQ—See you next year! #AxonIQCon24 #Amsterdam

#AxonIQCon24 is a wrap! Huge thanks to everyone who joined us at the Heineken Experience for two days of bold ideas and real conversations. Now, take what you’ve learned and get to work. Safe travels—let’s keep pushing boundaries in software architecture!

Either we move to Java 21 or I'm ready for a new challenge. The irritation is real. #Java8

@mjovanovictech I was able to convince our architect to do DDD. After work, I invited him to sit and watch "10 Tips for failing badly at Microservices" with me. David Schmitz's sarcasm hit the next level.

How do you convince your team to try out a new paradigm? Something like DDD or functional programming. I've always had teammates receptive to new ideas. Maybe I'm good at convincing people? I see a lot of people want to try something, but can't convince others of the benefits.

Whoa @chatgpt is actually useful. I just learned it can generate regexps, I despise writing repexps.

@nickchapsas This makes the senior dev looks ignorant. Instead, ask them to create a PowerPoint presentation. PPT and a video presentation if you want them to go away for good. Just so you know - I would never.

💡In Laravel, you can add a "bootable" method to traits which are used in Eloquent models. These methods get called with the model's boot method and are very handy for adding custom behavior inside the trait.

Listen to the experts, use frameworks, design patterns, and conventions. Don't stop there!! 🙌🙌 Take a moment ⏰ and go backward, and ask yourself why/how they became conventional. #reverse #engineering
