I keep telling people buying EVs: Don't buy an electric car if you, 1. Don't drive at least 1,500 Kms a month. 2. You plan to sell your car without making most of the energy cost savings (which will happen only if you drive a LOT) and 3. Don't have access to home charging. This is NOT an isolated case. The owner of a 7 month old Punch.EV went to exchange his car a facelifted Punch.EV. He got a quote 5.7 lakh less than what he'd bought his car for. From the same Tata dealer he bought the car from. cartoq.com/car-life/tata-… So, it's NOT a good idea to sell off a EV so soon. For that matter, any car. Cars need to be owned at least 7-8 years. Else, FAFO!
Trading With Logic@Tradewith_kd

EV SCAM THAT NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT 🚨 Resale Value of EV‼️ Bookmark it🔖 Just a little rant, but I have Nexon XZ+ 2021 model 27th December 2021 registered. The range is about 220km on road and the car is in excellent condition with no issues. I want to switch to an EV with higher range, thinking of either Windsor or VF7. It’s just been 4 years and 3 months since I bought the car, the issue is I am atleast expecting 6.1L for my car but the resale value for EV is absolute unreasonable. I bought this car for 15L back then, and today the valuation I’m getting for the car for exchange is about 4.5L and Cars24 is giving me absolutely unreasonable 4L value for the car. I tried Facebook marketplace with offers like 5L-5.5L and the ones who came to check the car for 6L idk why, they’re interested but it just does not fit in their budget? I posted on OLX to the sell my car, and it goes to show how people are still very skeptical about buying an EV. Not to mention, TATA absolutely ruined the resale value of older Nexons with a cheaper punch with more range, and it’s kinda pissing me off. Also people are unwilling to buy a 2nd hand EV because they fear “battery health” when no one really knows that an EV battery is not like a phone’s battery at all, they don’t have to replace an entire battery, only few cells are replaced if there is any issue, almost the same budget you’d use to maintain an ICE car after 8-10 years. So people who are buying an EV, beware that EVs still is an evolving technology, 2-3 years down the line there’s more cars with more range, and the depreciation does not work like ICE cars. I might have bought my EV too soon without realising it back then, still having a hard time to sell the car in my budget since a month now.

Ramayan's teaser is here and I was eagerly waiting to see the creativity around Pushpak Viman of Ravan. It looks grand and in the shape of a Pushpa ( flower ). Apart from this, the teaser looked cinematic. Full faith in Nitesh Tiwari, DNEG and Hans Zimmer. I don't like the star cast of this movie but I hope they do justice with the story and presentation. Jai Shri Ram 🙏

The RBI must have been furious ! Last Friday, post market closing, the RBI took it's first major step toward curbing excessive FX positioning - a $100 million NOP cap for authorised dealers ! Rupee was supposed to strengthen on Monday, right ? Well, it did - but only temporarily. Friday's close was 94.81. On Monday, it hit a high of 93.41 & then sold off rapidly. Made a new all-time low of 95.22. And finally closed at a new low of 94.83. RBI would not have been pleased, to say the least ! So what happened? Three possible reasons ? - importer hedging demand (last day of FY) - banks shifting arb positioning to corporates - diluting impact of the NOP cap ? - banks hoping for an extension of April 10 deadline? Whatever the reasons - fair to say - the outcome on Monday would have been unacceptable to the RBI ! And so it came up with another circular 👇 - Banks cannot offer INR NDFs to clients - If a client cancels any FX derivative, they cannot rebook it - Banks cannot undertake any FX derivative contract with related parties Basically with the above rules - the RBI has clearly separated between offshore & onshore markets. The effect ? Banks forced to unwind remaining arbitrage positions - which some estimate - b/w $25-30 billion ! And that is why the Rupee is stronger by almost 2% today ! #Iran #Nifty #BankNifty #Trump #India #Nifty #BankNifty @CNBCTV18Live

basis on this, the below is what Pushpak Viman might have looked like in era of Prabhu Shri Ram :)
Parth Chaturvedi tweet media
Parth Chaturvedi@_mrchaturvedi

#PushpakViman as explained in the Valmiki Ramayana (Hindi version in comments) when hanuman ji saw it first time Then, he (Hanuman Ji) saw the demon king Ravan's excellent and unique flying palace (Pushpak Viman), which perfectly matched his immense power. It was as tall as a cloud, shone beautifully like gold, and was deeply captivating. (5) It looked like gold spread across the earth and seemed to glow with its own light. Studded with countless gems and covered with flowers from various trees, it looked as beautiful as a mountain peak filled with flower pollen. (6) This flying palace shone with precious gems like a cloud lit up by lightning. It looked like a chariot being pulled through the sky by majestic swans. That divine chariot was beautifully built and looked incredibly gorgeous. Just as a mountain peak looks beautiful because of different minerals, the sky because of the planets and the moon, and a cloud because of many colours, this flying chariot looked uniquely beautiful because it was crafted from many different kinds of gems. (8) The floor of the chariot (where passengers stood) was made of artificial mountain ranges crafted from gold and jewels. These mountains were made to look lush and green with wide rows of trees. The trees were filled with abundant flowers, and these crafted flowers were complete with petals and pollen. (9) Inside the chariot, there were white buildings and ponds decorated with beautiful flowers. Lotuses, wonderful forests, and amazing lakes were also created inside it. (10) The beautiful flying chariot that the great monkey Hanuman saw was named Pushpak. It shone brightly from the light of its gems and could travel anywhere. Among all the grand, house-like flying chariots of the gods, this great Pushpaka chariot was the most highly respected. (11) Birds soaring in the sky were crafted from sapphire, silver, and coral. Colourful snakes were made from various gems, along with beautiful horses that looked exactly like real, high-quality breeds. (12) Many birds with beautiful faces and charming wings were carved onto the chariot. They looked like the direct helpers of the God of Love. Their wings were adorned with flowers made of coral and gold, and they kept their curved wings playfully folded. (13) In the chariot's lotus pond, crafted elephants were placed, assigned to the bathing ritual of Goddess Lakshmi. Their trunks were very beautiful. Their bodies were dusted with lotus pollen, and they held lotus flowers in their trunks. A shining statue of Goddess Lakshmi was seated there, being bathed by these elephants. Her hands were very beautiful, and she held a lotus flower in them. (14) #RamayanaMovie #Rama #RanbirKapoor

okay here are raw & brutally honest thoughts on #RamayanaTeaser on the risk of getting a backlash but true Ranbir fans would agree if they are honest. before I dive-in, just want to set the expectations right that I spent my childhood reading Valmiki, Tulsi, Kamban translation and Adhyatmic Ramayan. It is definitely better than Adipurush. But to be honest, I am still disappointed. It just does not have the magic or the soul of our great epic. Too Much Computer Graphics. They have a huge budget, but they used too much green screen. The makers are selling it like a VFX showcase instead of a real movie. With that much money, they should have built real, huge sets for Ayodhya and Lanka. Real sets always look better. The jungle scenes look like they were made by AI. The opening fight scene felt very out of place, and the demons just looked like an Indian Hulk. On the bright side, the Pushpak Viman actually looked pretty good! Ranbir Kapoor Doesn't Feel Like Lord Ram This is my biggest problem. When you see Prabhu Shri Ram, you should feel goosebumps. You should see a confident King and a God. Ranbir just does not have that aura in this teaser at least, I am hoping it gets better in trailer and in film. He looks a bit too old for the role. He also has a hunched posture in the teaser and lacks confidence. He doesn't look like the fierce warrior described in the books. The background music is good at some places. When you watch a movie about the Ramayana, the music should touch your soul and make you feel devoted. This music did not do that at that level. It was just basic movie music. Final Thoughts Nitesh Tiwari is a great director for normal movies, but this is his first time doing a huge historical epic. It really shows. For now, Ramanand Sagar's TV show is still the best version we have. I guess the wait for the perfect Ramayana movie continues. PS: I would love and extremely happy to be proven wrong but this did not work for me at that level. #WorldofRamayana #Rama #RanbirKapoor #NiteshTiwari
Parth Chaturvedi@_mrchaturvedi

I just wanna say before writing my detailed thoughts that Shri Ramanand Sagar ji was blessed, he has this blessing or boon from Prabhu Shri Ram to tell a story that would live beyond generations.. it’s never easy to make people see a God on screen, to give them goosebumps, to make their hearts so happy and so full of divinity and hands might join in prayers, to make people feel we are living in a world created by Prabhu Shri Ram… I can’t be more thankful to Ramanand Sagar ji for his Ramayan. PS: just raw thoughts. This is not a comparison. #RamayanaMovie

I stare at this car everyday while walking towards my home lift. That matte grey on the Alcazar just hits differently. Understated, but impossible to ignore. It gives the car a premium look. And those sharp lines plus dark alloys make it look properly muscular. A better Creta in every sense. Not loud, not flashy… just pure class with attitude. This car has grown on me after reading the views of @volklub. Supremely value for money if you need a 7 seater to accommodate your kids or just a bigger boot space.

BEFORE KL RAHUL, NOW RISHABH PANT 💔 Winning and losing are part of the game, but public humiliation shouldn't be. If Sanjiv Goenka has concerns, they belong in the dressing room, not on a global broadcast. Lecturing a captain like KL Rahul & Rishabh Pant in front of cameras feels less like 'passion' and more like a 'boss' trying to show who’s in charge. Respect the players who give their all.
