Been on the other side of this transition. Spent years perfecting pixel-perfect designs only to watch engineers rebuild everything This course is the bridge I wish existed when I was stuck in that loop✨💪🏼 If you’re a designer who wants to stay relevant in 2026, this is it🔥 → designengineer. pro (Live Now)
Shashi (シャシ)@shashpicious_

If your design process still ends at figma, 2026 is going to hurt ⚠️ made designengineer(.)pro for designers ready to cross over before it’s too late designing in cursor, shipping in code, AI in the loop, ditching the handoff. everything i wish someone handed me when i made the jump into it Elevate your career from Product Designer to AI Design Engineer 📈🔥 Link Below 👇

AI will 100% replace the folks debating "AI won't replace the thinking, the process, bla bla bla" instead of doing real work and leveraging AI to improve level of the quality of deliverables

When I left India in 2012 my college professor gave me just one piece of advice: "કદી કોઈના કંધો પર પગ મૂકે તો ભૂલવાનો નહીં" It's a Gujarati saying when translated means don't ever forget that you stand on the shoulder of giants! Honestly at the time I couldn't comprehend what Dr Nagendra Gajjar told me. So I just nodded and left his office. Fast forward 14 years and I feel blessed to be living this dream life! I wake up everyday and get to interview the top design teams in the world!! My ego would like to think it's the hard work I put in or the countless sleepless night editing interviews. But that's bullshit! The truth is I stand on the shoulders of giants like @abnux and @ridd_design (and so many others). I didn't have to ask ChatGPT or watch YouTube videos to figure out the content strategy. I just got on calls with these giants and got my answers! Thank you to all the designers who watch my content, all the design leaders who cleared red tape for their teams to interview with me, guests and @RishabhxDesign. Y'all are the giants that make Sneak Peek possible 🫶

In a world where craft is reduced to metrics and timelines are crowded with noise and borrowed relevance, individuality becomes rare. That’s why I’ll always root for @sunalsood . Watching him build year after year without losing his taste or identity has been refreshing.

Most loud people online aren’t building anything meaningful. Noise is often insecurity with an audience. Easier to steal attention than earn respect through years of work. And Sunal, very few people will say this directly, but you’re doing great work. Keep building.

Design workflow evolution timeline check 2015: Moving designs in dreamweaver, flash, and indesign 2017: flexing giant photoshop, sketch files and polished dribbble shots became the norm, 2020: spending hours perfecting figma illustrations, components, and auto-layout systems 2022: Shipping production-ready websites straight from Webflow & Framer (no more “just mockups”) 2024: bringing life to interfaces with rive and play instead of static screens 2026: opening pull requests in cursor instead of waiting around for handoffs. The job stayed the same the proximity to production changed completely!

I recently built an Indian Metro Sim game because I love Mini Metro and wanted to understand what makes a clean strategy game feel fun. The tiny goal: Indianize that metro-planning joy with our cities, stations, maps, chaos, rhythm, and a little desi transit drama. (1/2)

my wife who runs her bespoke brand made me four suits in four weeks. i work from home, in pyjamas most days. ritika had just started trialing with tailors. i was the immediate possible male specimen to run experiments on xD every weekend was a measurement or a trial date with her. me on a stool, ritika circling, pinning, telling me to squat. surprise was the double-breasted. i didn’t even know that’s what it’s called and it’s my favourite fkn suit. from not knowing any type of suit to having a favourite one we have come a long way @ughritikulous. all credits to ritika fr fr

I think definition of how you design will slightly change so as to what we do manually and what we do through prompting Because I still feel what you did or even I do the same, tweaking giving directions till you reach something substantial or decent in our opinion or as per our taste is also a big part of design, now how we reach it keeps on changing I feel as tools keep evolving. Earlier people used to draw on paper and do cutouts, then they started visualising things directly on digital medium but art and craft for good taste still reflected in the output but how we design things as process changed. And I believe atleast that will always keep on evolving

Question to my fellow designers: This is an app icon I made using AI. The process was actually very similar to how I normally design. I collected multiple references, explored directions, and built the visual. The only difference? Instead of using Blender, I used a node-based AI tool. Now here’s my question: Do you think this is good or bad? Personally, I like the result, but it didn’t feel satisfying. I’ve spent hours in Photoshop extending backgrounds or tweaking tiny details. This one, I could’ve also made in Blender in maybe 2–3 hours. So now I’m wondering: Is this still design?

Went to Naru Noodle bar for first time today, not worth the hype and effort to get it tbh! Will prefer Neon Market Ramen anyday given you can just walk in and midnight half prices 🫶🏻 >>
