This is H.E. Ambassador of Kingdom of Belgium arriving ystdy to meet Rector of Uni of Belgrade. The rule that Uni is free & independent is no longer valid in 🇷🇸. Ambassador was stopped by police who occupied rector's office on the basis of a flimsy order from the prosecutor.

Economics Journals as Tennis Tournaments 🧵(for an extremely niche audience) Quarterly Journal of Economics = Wimbledon The oldest and most influential event, but also clubby, snobby, and elitist. To win it you must train on a very particular surface/ZIP code.

The fertility gap between graduate and non-graduate women becomes statistically insignificant when accounting for first-in-family (FiF) status. FiF graduates have fewer children than both non-FiF graduates and non-graduates, who exhibit similar fertility patterns. A great new paper just out! link.springer.com/article/10.100… #demography #fertility #population #UK
