i’ve been talking with abood each and every day for the last couple of weeks. through 3 different accounts as he always gets suspended. he is genuinely very dear to me and my heart breaks as he needs to beg people for help while dealing with insufferable terms of service violence

another point that i’m still working on in the ol noggin is that genocides are a regular occurrence in a world war, and has largely been the end [or some sort of end] of the empire committing the it [the ottoman empire, the third reich]

fwiw i believe with the way arms and supplies are manufactured and how the market is organized in the last 50ish years any western war was in some sense a world war but we did reach a specific peak. repurposing factories to manufacture weapons is an interesting occurrence
