I am a CA. Have been for 30+ years. I have seen CAs become movie directors I have seen CAs become content creators I have seen CAs become fashion designers I have seen CAs become video editors I myself went from CA to running a chocolate brand across 34 countries. Someone who can study 12 hours a day for 12 months straight can do literally anything. The CA degree is not your ceiling. It is proof that you have no ceiling.

She discovered that sand was being illegally mined from the Yamuna and Hindon river banks every single night. Rs 500 crore worth of sand was being looted every year. She formed special squads. Led midnight raids herself. Seized 297 vehicles. Filed over 60 FIRs. The mafia stopped her car on the road and brandished weapons at her. She did not stop. Then the state government stepped in. On July 27 2013 she was suspended. The official reason: demolishing a mosque wall and disturbing communal harmony. The actual reason was widely known.She had hurt the sand mafia. And the sand mafia had friends in government. The entire IAS community revolted. Over 1000 officers filed a petition. Kiran Bedi protested. The National Green Tribunal ordered a pan-India crackdown on sand mining. After 57 days the suspension was revoked. She was transferred. In India the reward for honesty is a transfer. The punishment for corruption is a promotion.

His name is Rinku Singh Rahi. In 2009 he was a PCS officer in Muzaffarnagar. He exposed a Rs 100 crore scholarship and pension scam. Three days later someone shot him seven times. Two bullets hit his face. His jaw shattered. He lost an eye. Lost hearing in one ear. He spent 4 months in hospital. When he came out the government transferred him. He did not quit. At age 40 with one eye and a broken jaw he appeared for the UPSC exam under the disability quota. He got AIR 683. He became an IAS officer. In July 2025 on his first field posting as SDM in Shahjahanpur he saw a clerk urinating in the office premises. He made the clerk do squats as punishment. The lawyers protested saying it was wrong. Rinku Singh Rahi said there is no shame in accountability and did five squats himself in public. Within 36 hours he was transferred. For 8 months he sat at the Revenue Board with no work. Full salary. Zero responsibilities. On March 31 2026 he resigned. His resignation letter said there is a special punishment reserved for honest people in India. They get paid but no work is given to them. He said even receiving a salary without working is a form of corruption. He could not do it. He walked away.

His name was Satyendra Dubey. He topped Bihar in Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. He cleared JEE and went to IIT Kanpur. He joined the Indian Engineering Service. In 2002 he was posted as Project Director at the National Highways Authority of India in Jharkhand. His job was to oversee the Golden Quadrilateral highway project. India’s biggest infrastructure project at the time. What he found was shocking. Substandard materials. Inflated bills. Contractors looting public money. He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister’s Office exposing everything. He asked for one thing. That his identity be kept secret. The PMO leaked his name. On November 27 2003 he was shot dead in Gaya Bihar. He was 27 years old. Two years later India passed the Right to Information Act. Ten years later India passed the Whistleblowers Protection Act. Both laws exist because of Satyendra Dubey. He never got to see either of them.

They say a statute is just ink on paper.. But for a CA the Income tax Act 1961 was like the ink in our veins. Lets be honest it was never just a syllabus for us. It was foundation.. Tomorrow the 2025 Act takes its place on our desks and in the statute books.. A new era begins.. But the 1961 Act will forever hold the throne in our memories... IncomeTaxAct1961 ❤️
