Men oppress women and white people oppress black people in a societal sense. These do not cancel each other out or block one another, and I would never claim such.

Its obviously not wrong to acknowledge trans men have more privilege than trans women because it's simply true however, it really does irk me when y'all act like talking about the oppression that trans men face is somehow wrong. I really don't get it and I never will.

I’ve also seen trans women shut down the voices of trans men simply just speaking on their oppression and whatnot. Those two things can also be true.

Like, I rarely see people talk about the fact that trans men are being raped and experimented on, but at the same time, I also hardly see people talking about the TWOC femcide.

The biggest obstacle to unity among trans women is racism, not people calling out racism.

@fuburyo @blckbrdquitter @htmljones Said this elsewhere, but women are allowed to complain about men. Men hold privilege over us unilaterally and as such we are allowed to speak on it in our own way. Trans men are men, and they need to learn to accept how women speak on men if they're actually in community with us.

i don’t think it’s hard to reconcile that white trans women are not above the racism of any other kind of white person and also that some people launder transmisogyny under the guise of critiquing whiteness in bad faith. the latter wouldn’t be effective if the former weren’t real

So I am a trans woman of colour and ending your thoughts on transmisogyny with the implication that we shut down trans men unfairly or arbitrarily is not only unhelpful it’s continuing to perpetuate the very transmisogyny we’re talking about

i’ve given it some thought and i’ve decided that being a trans woman is harder than being any other gendered category, and anyone who thinks otherwise is stupid and evil
