There is a unique perspective to this manga that you can only understand as an artist or someone who does art for work. Aka Shirahama not-so-subtly telling the artists in the audience to stop overworking and draw for themselves sometimes (guilty)

it honestly feels very fitting that the one time in the show claudia actually speaks for herself, and so many people in this godforsaken fandom bend over backwards to reject or explain away what she says because it doesn't fit the version of her they built in their heads


claudia’s distress over being unable to find rest or love in the afterlife was so horrifying and loustat moving on so quickly really drives home the horror of being so in love that you’re careless about any pain or hurt you cause to any other person even your own child
