working on a qifrey study right now and was wondering how the fairytales of witch society would look like (outside the obvious big one). in a lot of fairy tales there's an underlying motif of a triumphant underdog, and i wonder if this element would be present in the tales told -

There is a unique perspective to this manga that you can only understand as an artist or someone who does art for work. Aka Shirahama not-so-subtly telling the artists in the audience to stop overworking and draw for themselves sometimes (guilty)

claudia’s distress over being unable to find rest or love in the afterlife was so horrifying and loustat moving on so quickly really drives home the horror of being so in love that you’re careless about any pain or hurt you cause to any other person even your own child
