This afternoon, #UVM's Board of Trustees voted unanimously to divest the university's endowment of fossil fuel investments. A long tradition of environmental leadership, student advocacy, and the growing climate crisis were key factors. Details: go.uvm.edu/uvm-divests

Amidst achievement, we must acknowledge those who fought before us for > a decade. Their dedication & passion paved the way for the results achieved this year. Although this is a huge step, UVM has a ways to go in working towards sustainability. This is only the beginning! (2/2)

In #BTV #BlackLivesMatter + we condemn the murder of George Floyd. The flag will fly at City Hall throughout this emergency to remind us that because of generations of racism, the virus is killing black Americans at vastly disparate rates...and to inspire us to do much better

Devastating to see the development taking place in the USA. Centuries of structural and systematic racism and social injustice won’t go away by itself. We need a global structural change. The injustices must come to an end. #BlackLivesMatter
