Sunrise PDX, People’s Housing Project, Kalikasan Solidarity Organization, @PortlandStrike @LettersForPale1 and others gathered outside of City Hall for a People’s Town Hall. Community advocates believe a new council will address the housing crisis where Rene Gonzalez has failed.

Our final official endorsements for City Council this year are for Mitch Green and Lisa Freeman in District 4! We're so excited to support these two candidates and their campaigns.

Sunrise PDX is excited to release our first endorsements for the 2024 city elections! We're proud to support Candace Avalos, Timur Ender, and Steph Routh for District 1 (East Portland).

Less than one week until the Joint Committee on Transportation's roadshow comes to Portland and we have the chance to tell legislators exactly what we think they should do with state money (hint: it's not widening freeways)!

We're advocating for an Oregon where people can ride the bus, take the train, ride a bike, or walk where they need to go. With the 2025 transportation package coming up in the State Legislator, we need our voices to be more powerful than ever.
