This whole 50:50 conversation is a conversation for poor people. Mentally poor people. It takes a serious level of mental poverty to be fighting passionately for your right to watch your partner suffer while you hoard your own money. Again, mental poverty in glorious display.

A lot of you are actually very toxic people…Why are you already imagining a future where your husband cheats and spends money on other women because you’re splitting bills? Your own fantasies are always negative. No happy home in view at all.

The way I think about double income household is simple: Both spouses should split individual income into 3. 1/3 from both sides goes into running the home (rent + utilities + groceries) 1/3 from both sides goes into savings and investments, Remaining 1/3 is yours to keep. Whether they earn equally or not, it works. Nobody is overspent. Spouse A earns 4K, Spouse B earns 2K. Rent, utilities, groceries = spouse A 1,300 + spouse B 700. Savings and Investments = 1,300 + 700 When a spouse is unable to work, there's enough reserve in savings and investments bucket to cushion the working spouse. Anyways, none of this will matter if you marry your enemy because that's what it looks like you people are marrying. No one, who genuinely loves you, will watch you work yourself to the grave while she keeps her money to herself. Tueh.

You and your spouse moved to Europe where: * you're earning almost equally every month, * rent is due every month, She'll be "chipping in" while you're bearing the entire cost of the entire household, because you want to form "Head of The House"? Nigerian men 😹😹

The important part of this conversation is that when we think sexual crimes, we instantly think "men". But the facade of innocence that women present allow them to run under the radar. More women have normalized getting pleasured by their pets, they purchase more sex toys (which isn't a crime but does factor unbridled sexual desires), abuse young boys than it is on record. Most of these boys can't, don't, won't come out because they've been misled to believe that it is a badge of honor. A belief system reinforced by dysfunctional men who were also abused by older women. So when in the rarity we get a highly placed societal woman like Simi admit to sexual crimes against children, you bite it down as hard as you can because this is a conversation that never gets featured. Because of this facade of innocence, more children get left with women like Simi who think it is okay for them to be objects of pleasure. People like myself are too insane to be bullied out of these conversations. #Justicefor4 #Simiwhy

I still remember 2004, when I went to England for my best man’s wedding and experienced very fast Internet for the first time, which was more than the 4 Mbps we had in the office in Lagos. I couldn't sleep as I downloaded everything onto my laptop to take back home. This was after we had done a $300m telco deal and I had executed a $4m SAP project back home. You can be making a lot of money in a place and still have less access to the basic privileges others have outside in a saner place. This is why I try to avoid many arguments with Nigerians here, as they argue from their frame of reference and lived experience, not the reality of most others in the world. They can be exposed and have money, but they are still mentally poor as I was in 2004. I had to go live in the UK in 2005 and attend school for many of my misconceptions and beliefs to change. Some people also live in the same UK and still have this sufferhead mentality as they don't leave London. I went all over and saw things that changed me completely. My visit to Cornwall is still my most profound. My old customer and mentor started a business after retirement that was making over £4m in monthly profit, and is still a quiet landowner and farmer. My frame of reference shifted from hoarding and flaunting wealth to sensible investing and building. A recent revelation that many Americans have a net worth of over $30m shocked people. It shows how the same poverty mindset is prevalent globally, and many don't see the other side. Some even thought it was largely due to crime. A few criminals make plenty of money, but trust me, many more people make much more money legally. I would rather try to understand how people use their unfair advantages and find mine than to engage in circus-like behavior that glorifies criminals or accuses people I don't know of crimes. There is too much abundance in this world that we are not yet tapping into.

Let me clarify here before they lump everyone together. I do not charge money to raise money for anybody. In fact, for everyone I’ve raised money for, I contribute my personal money to the cause. I cannot ask the public to raise money for someone and I’m not contributing to it. You cannot fake kindness. It is not sustainable. Importantly, you cannot make such promises to raise the complete funds. It is public money, you can’t guarantee how much people are willing to part with and you can’t force it out of them.

Sam Altman and his Silicon Valley bros are trying to physically colonise human intelligence so that they can control it and turn it into something you have to buy from them as you get stupider. Don't take my word for it. He said so himself:

@jayebros @SimisolaTomori @hadj_gesinde @QualityGadgets_ I understand, but it’s better you sell it and donate the money to a family member or a religious body or even charity. The aim is not to give him anything (punishment for bad behavior). But it’s in the past now, this is a learning moment for me, hope you also learnt from it too.

This is basically like running a dispatch business 🤣🤣 I had 10 bikes and a bus, my husband had an extra 5 bikes as well. One day, I sold everything and kept just the bus. A few weeks ago, I even dashed my husband the bus, I cannot come and run mad 🤣 I saw fire and brimstone 😭🔥

One of my financial mistakes 2024 i opened a pure water factory for additional income. In fact in my head I had imagined that it’s blood money business I was about to enter because I felt the expenses will be small so I imagined plenty profit. In my mind I said after all I’m not buying the water. Anyway let me first use 5 minutes to laugh at my self first before I start 😂😂😂 I bought every machine it needed to Nafdac standard,I also registered it with Nafdac so my sale was very legit. That gave me my first experience with Nafdac I started with 3 cars,a hilux truck and 2 open boot bikes. We kicked off and my reality set in. First of all printing of roll was more expensive than i thought, already taking half of my money. Then as a producer our price is usually regulated with other factories,we cannot give drivers higher than other factories because we had a union binding us and it was part of our rules. We are producers so we don’t sell directly,we give to drivers at cheaper rate then they sell and make their money. As at that time I was giving each bag of water to my drivers at 120 naira a bag sometimes 150. Now I will still buy fuel for the cars ooo Even when i considered the option of them buying fuel and adjusting their price I still suffered for it. I also pay each bagger 10 naira to bag 1 bag, this is minus other salaries of the people in production handling the major sealing machines ooo I was burning electricity and light bill as if fire was burning my Nyash. I changed filters every two weeks and it’s not cheap I ran diesel to support Nepa because of course I live in Nigerian. I had so many staffs on salaries too and there are so many other expenses i cannot say all here. Abi is it car maintenance, story for another day 🥱 Drivers will owe me and they kept giving excuses that customers are owing them, all lies, infact me,drivers and police station became customers every week. I gave most of this drivers accommodation ooo but the truth is they are full blown thieves. At the end of every sales I make money but it goes like the wind to expenses and I will be left with only money to replace the rolls to produce again. To cut the long story short I was close to running madd then I shut down the business and I regained my sanity. If you have ever ran a pure water business you will understand this post better than anyone else, and if you intend to open a pure water factory first go to Amadioha and take juju make all your workers first swear oath before you start and take jazz not to run madd. Which business showed you shege? © Belle Kingdom
