#darkstalkers is one of the games that shaped my life. SO I was super stoked to get a chance to work on an official product. Now that these are announced, I can say that I was part of the team of people who worked on this. I helped with the Saturn and PS1 covers !!!

Personal Work: Face-lifting some older work with things I've learned. It's fun remixing work with matured sensibilities. I can see the ideas, but at the time I didn't have the built-up visual library to execute it.

@super_fossil @mizu_crow @PTFtokyo It's funny because I use: - PS3 on a CRT for "Darkstalkers Resurrection" for Vsav training mode. - MisterFPGA on CRT for when I have friends over. - This arcade board with advanced minigun on SCART for myself. (I only have one good converter) Nothing beats cabinet though!

Made it back to America. Ignore the funny TV. I bought it secondhand. Only arcade board practice between now and EVO USA. Thank you to all the cool people I met in Japan ! ! Thank you @mizu_crow & @PTFtokyo for all the info on Vampire Savior meetups. I got you in California!

@nakano_sagat Yeah, Plus Digital can come and go if it's online. In the West, we tend to get shows and movies that have their contracts expire and then vanish from services, very frustrating.

@super_fossil Yeah, it feels different when you can actually hold it. Digital is convenient, but it doesn’t have the same kind of memories

@raptor919 I love laser discs so much because of the huge artwork on them. The first anime I ever watched at an anime convention in 1999 was Cardcaptor Sakura on laser disc in Japanese. It's very special to me.

The very last Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike CPS3 kit that shipped out from Capcom’s Coin-Op Division in 2003. A little history behind this piece. In 2003, the same year we opened ARCADESHOCK, we purchased the remaining inventory from Capcom Coin-Op’s arcade division — roughly 650 total CPS2, CPS3, Naomi and JAMMA kits. We then offered them online directly to the public. At that time, complete CPS2 kits were selling for around $120 - $150. Sounds unbelievable today, but back then these were simply “used arcade games” to most people. A handful of collectors immediately understood the opportunity and purchased every title they could while inventory lasted. Looking back now, those purchases would become some of the most valuable and historically important arcade releases in the hobby. This particular 3rd Strike kit represents the end of an era — one of the final CPS3 kits to ever leave Capcom’s arcade distribution channel.
