When former Angels GM Bill Stoneman (1999-2007) resigned the club lost a gem. The Angels cooked under Stoneman's hire of Mike Scioscia, Eddie Bane and key free agent signings (Vlad), the draft (Weaver, Kendrick, Saunders) + Aybar, Morales & Santana in international signings.
