@h3roin4ddict I think it changes when you update the app while in Russia, without a VPN running.

Boomers will post this shit then tell their kids and grandkids everything listed in there is an expensive luxury good you should forego in lieu of a diet of ice cubes, mustard sandwiches, TV dinners, and chopped hotdogs on crackers.

Can someone plead explain why so many people still take socialism seriously? It has always failed badly, every single time leading to bitter misery and poverty. No exceptions. Why is it still so popular? Don’t people pay attention in history classes?

A country of less than 3 million people and Indians even got imported there. Get these dirty jeets out of Lithuania, these politicians will be charged with treason when it’s all said and done.

I keep saying it, but I won’t vote for a party that does not promise to assess our judges and strip them of power if they are found to be grossly negligent like this. We see it time and time again, like the gang rapists, found guilty, who the judge let walk free the other day.

Judge has lowered the charge to manslaughter in the Henry Nowak trial. This is despite Digwa repeatedly stabbing Henry in the back as he tried to escape. I guess you can murder White teenagers and the ‘police’ will handcuff them, the ‘justice’ system will lower your charge.

@RomaniaMare1918 That's what they get for joining the EU. They wanted to be part of civilized west, now they're getting exactly that.

🚨⚠️ Lithuania has been invaded by the 3rd world!!! They won't leave a single European country to survive. Every inch of Europe is being invaded. If this doesn't stop everything our ancestors fought for will disappear!!!

Bizarre to see a senior Estonian official nostalgically framing Dudayev’s Chechnya as some noble democratic independence movement. By 1994 Chechnya was already descending into chaos. Dudayev had illegally dissolved parliament and the constitutional court, shelled opposition-held buildings, and opposition figures were being killed. Moscow absolutely had grounds to intervene. And the irony is that if an independent Islamist Chechnya had survived into the post-9/11 era, there’s a very real chance it would eventually have been invaded or bombed by either the US or one of its allies during the “war on terror.”
Marko Mihkelson 🇪🇪🇺🇦🇪🇺@markomihkelson

As a Moscow correspondent, I took this photo in Moscow in October 1993. The poster reads: “We are Russians - God is with us.” A day later, Russia stood on the brink of civil war. At the cost of bloodshed, the authoritarian vertical of presidential power was restored. Everything began moving back toward the foundations of empire, and a year later the state resorted to force in an attempt to rebuild that empire by crushing Chechnya’s aspirations for independence. The sense of national chosenness and the intoxication of the state’s “Third Rome” mission have prevented Russia from breaking free from the chains of its past. Unfortunately, that remains true today. And until Russia frees itself from this mindset, neither the state nor its aggressive determination to impose its will on others will change.

when i got my first real job (i.e. outside of academia) at GM, 80% of the job consisted of attending mandatory conferences where HR-marms lectured you about your internalized racism or whatever. a solid 40% of the IT departments were diversity hires that did essentially nothing all day beyond enthusiastically twisting the screws in the HR-organized struggle sessions. i moved to mexico thinking it would be better, but no same thing (more focus on sexism though). then i moved to supposedly based poland and it was somehow even worse because poles have no shame about doing absolutely fucking nothing all day. at one point i was even gently pushed out of a company explicitly because i was like the only one actually doing work all day instead of social club lol basically at some point all institutions get captured by these people and they essentially siphon off 20-25% of the revenue to give to themselves and their ilk, and create laws making it illegal for anyone to stop it (or in countries where such things are difficult, organize mass cancellations and PR disasters for any companies that don't bend the knee) and "this economy" isn't going anywhere. the superstructure of HR, PR, compliance, consulting, regulatory, AML, social outreach, etc, will simply extract increasing resources until full serfdom and impoverishment of everyone else, as putting an end to "this economy" would require a complete transformation of society that no one seems poised to undertake any time soon
doomer@uncledoomer

its so funny that men found out that this was what women were doing at their jobs and the men went "im crashing this economy with no survivors"

Terrifying in a population of 2 million. They want to fight Russia so more of their own can leave. I don't want that to happen. Lithuanian cities are geographically narrower and more elongated than Ukraine. Most infrastructure and roads are concentrated along a few main corridors
