A little light googling says 10,000 people died in Minnesota in the 1918/1919 pandemic. Which seems significant. The “statistics” chapter at the end (that shows population change over time) doesn’t even mention.

I suspect I will get to 50, because I am stubborn about completing checklists, but even if I stopped now the exercise was worth it.

3. And…. Many people are having a really hard time. My heart aches for the loss and change and challenges we are individually and collectively facing.

I made a new years resolution to reconnect with 50 people this year. I kept expecting to naturally reconnect as we came out of pandemic isolation times and it just wasn’t happening. So I decided to be more intentional. I have completed 20/50 so far. Some reflections:
