Honestly, it’s not about Hans Zimmer being not good enough, I think Zimmer was never a good choice for our epics Ramayana or Mahabharata. they’re deeply rooted in our culture, emotions, and spiritual rhythm. To truly capture that soul, the composer needs to have grown up absorbing those nuances. That’s where MM Keeravani stands out, His work naturally taps into that Indian ethos while still delivering grandeur. It doesn’t feel interpreted from the outside. It feels like it belongs.
