So now people care about a hostile work environment? But when: 1. Source Music (a subsidiary of HYBE) leaked pre-debut videos of NewJeans members as minors to the media through Dispatch, 2. A BELIFT & Source Music (a subsidiary of HYBE) producer attempted to kick the NewJeans mascot, 3. HYBE executives were writing in internal reports about discarding NewJeans, 4. A BELIFT manager instructed their artists to ignore NewJeans, 5. HYBE employees mocking NewJeans members on social media platforms, 6. BELIFT's CEO openly sexualised the NewJeans members, and so on, there was little acknowledgement. People going as far as stating the girls were "over-reacting". I suppose it only becomes recognised as a hostile work environment when it affects people they favour. That, in itself, shows selective empathy and moral disengagement, where harm is acknowledged only when it affects those they favour, while being minimised or ignored otherwise.
