Some comments on taking profit: I vividly remember the first time I actually took profit; it was during a horrible time - I was jet lagged and just came off a 12 hour flight $USDC had de-pegged and was at $0.92, a substantial amount of my net worth was in it at the time and I capitulated I took the profits from the 21/22 NFT cycle and thought it would be some horrible feeling, but it was the complete opposite I felt a complete sense of equanimity, finally realising the hard work I had put in over the years - even if it was from a freak event I spent the entire bear market speaking to people more intelligent than me purely on the concept of avoiding round tripping, wealth preservation, and taking profit I’ve realised that target setting is an awful mindset, as ultimately your targets just increase exponentially through the emotion of greed You should get comfortable with TP, do it based on DCA strategies - Time-based DCA - Price-based DCA I pick the former, as I have a good gauge on market cycles (this is really important) For example, every week you can take X% of your portfolio into stables and rotate into yield farms without any intention to reinvest The latter is a completely different topic matters, but the tl;dr: - Get comfortable taking profit - Journal the goals you want to hit and emotions you feel - Devise a clear strategy on every holding on how you will take profit - Realise gains and changing your life, don’t listen to mid-tier influencers Godspeed for the rest of this cycle 🫡
