@surberry7 @Aetna That’s wild (and great for students!). I think it’s just bananas that @Aetna would rather me pay for all rabies vaccines than cover the PEP given the staggering cost it would be to them/me if I couldn’t afford it and took my chance on actual rabies…

@Aetna - I was bitten by a bat on vacation and had to go to the ER for the rabies vaccine. I called 3 urgent cares (cheaper since this wasn't an emergency) - none stock it. Called DPH - told to go to ER. Went to the ER, got Rabies Ig and Rabies vaccine -- $1500 (1/2).
