In response, the Federal Government has announced plans to establish the Armed Forces College of Medicine and Health Sciences to help expand medical training capacity and strengthen the country’s healthcare system. Addressing access, retention, and training will be key to closing this gap and improving long term health outcomes nationwide.

BREAKING: Nigeria’s National Sports Commission is reportedly moving to stop Favour Ofili from representing Turkey at the LA 2028 Olympics. A senior NSC official says Ofili received a $20,000 elite training grant from Nigeria in 2025. Because of this, the Commission is now pushing for her eligibility switch waiting period to be extended until AFTER the 2028 Olympics. If approved, she may not compete for Turkey in LA.

Authorities are also carrying out searches across Berkshire and Norfolk. The investigation is said to be connected to claims he passed confidential UK government information to Jeffrey Epstein during his time as trade envoy before 2011. Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, denies any wrongdoing and is currently in custody. This follows new disclosures from the Epstein files that reportedly triggered the probe.
