We’re stoked that ambition has been matched by the Minns Government and Crossbench in NSW and we hope to see a similar bipartisan commitment to banning new offshore oil and gas projects in NSW waters soon.

The passage of this Bill shows that we can put aside political differences and seize the opportunities of cleaner energy while addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change.

We’re stoked to see bipartisan support for the passage of the Climate Change #NetZeroFuture Bill in the NSW Parliament. We want to protect our coastlines and oceans so that surfers can keep riding waves in a thriving ocean for generations to come.

We don’t need new offshore oil and gas exploration, we don’t need projects like PEP 11. It makes no sense when we have an endless supply of sun and wind. The bill from the NSW Coalition to ban offshore mining is welcomed by the surfing and coastal communities of NSW.
