@JoeNakamoto Joe, I followed you for years and always enjoyed your content. All I can say now is how much did they pay you for this hit piece? The entire premise of the video is "El Salvador still uses its emergency powers but shouldn't, and that makes Bukele a dictator."
I'm shocked.

@WallStreetApes Who gives a fuck what these commies have to say? The only reason these networks are giving this any airtime is that they are in on the agenda to turn the US into a communist state.

Democratic Socialists unveil their new platform ahead of the 2026 midterms
It’s even crazier than just a few weeks ago
- Get rid of for-profit companies
- No one will have many bills because there won’t be for-profit companies
- You can take days off work because you won’t have many bills because they want to end for-profit companies
- Abolish ICE
- End ICE detentions
- End all deportations
- Abolish the Senate
- Abolish the Supreme Court
- More wealth taxes taxes on billionaires
- Expand the Congress that they’ll control
- New justice system that they’ll control
- They say Bernie Sanders is the only popular Senator because he’s a socialist
These people are communists. They want to destroy and bring down America. If they gain momentum, it’s over
People need to understand how dangerous this movement is and take it seriously

@TheMekon_Venus Unfortunately it won't qualify for an Oscar because there are no transgender roles and the lead isn't a minority race.
Just stating facts.

Amazon has just dropped the trailer for I Am Rocky.
It’s a movie about the making of a movie… Rocky
That might sound a bit Inception, but it actually makes a lot of sense. It's something I've been expecting for a while.
Not this specific film…but this entire genre.
We've had a wave of musician biopics over the last few years, and you could argue that most of the biggest stories have now been told.
So what's next?
The stories behind how classic films were made have always been fascinating
And when I say "classic", I'm also talking about '80s icons like Back to the Future, Indiana Jones, and E.T.
These films come with a built in fan base. Just look at how successful stage adaptations of classic movies have become.
I've long thought that the "making of a classic movie" genre was going to be the next big thing.
Rocky is a great choice because it can also work as a biopic of Sylvester Stallone and his struggle to get the original film made.
If this is a huge success and especially if it picks up Oscar attention… I think we'll see many more films like it. A whole new genre could be about to emerge.
I genuinely like the trailer, and I'll definitely be watching I Am Rocky.

@Huff4Congress Nice try but this doesn't even come close to human acting. Visually appealing maybe until they open their mouths scream one liners at each other. Hollywood just needs to die and not be replaced by ai slop which can be programmed to braijwash you anyway.
Go touch grass!

@Rightanglenews That fukwit with his fake accent needs to be arrested for trespassing, and those employees deserve a bonus for putting up with his shit for as long as they did and the mat one dude is definitely going to be employee of the year!

@GuntherEagleman One of the very few non-woke movies is coming, and it's going to be a massive hit.

@gofishh77 I'm sure it's going down so well with the newly imported engineers in Finland. Those single women must love being a target 🎯.

@reoindustries @X PLEASE whatever you do don't build a car full of EPA and CARB bullshit that kills an engines real performance and efficiency. Californians have other states they can register their cars in. You could even offer CA buyers SD registration with the purchase!

@LukeDashjr @LorenHodl I was being facetious, Luke. We all know who you are, but acting like you are doing Bitcoin a favor by hard forking into something that you think is better is exactly what's wrong here, and as Bitcoin's longest active developer, you should know better.
English

@surfnsats @LorenHodl Longest active Bitcoin developer.
You don't know what you're talking about.

As the dust settles on the BIP-110 debate, it’s becoming clear that this particular proposal is unlikely to achieve the miner signaling needed for activation. Whether you supported it as a necessary defense of Bitcoin’s monetary focus or opposed it as an overreach that risked innovation and chain stability, one thing is certain: the conversation revealed deep passions on all sides.
Importantly, this debate hasn’t soured my view of the vast majority of Bitcoiners. On both sides I see people who care deeply about the network’s long-term health, decentralization, and success. We all want Bitcoin to thrive as sound money, a robust settlement layer, and a tool for financial sovereignty. Disagreements on the best path forward are natural in a permissionless system like ours; they’re a feature, not a bug.
Now is the time to look ahead. If (or when) BIP-110 fades, we should focus on recouping, healing, and reuniting around our shared mission: building and growing the Bitcoin network. That means:
• Continuing to run and support full nodes for a healthy, decentralized base layer.
• Innovating responsibly: whether that’s improving scalability solutions, enhancing privacy, expanding Lightning, or developing practical monetary use cases that respect block space realities.
• Engaging constructively across divides instead of deepening them. Bitcoin is bigger than any single proposal or faction.
• Prioritizing education, adoption, and infrastructure that makes Bitcoin more useful and accessible for everyday people and institutions alike.
Bitcoin has survived far greater challenges through its history by sticking to first principles and adapting as a living system. Let’s channel the energy from this debate into positive action. The best way to “win” is to make Bitcoin stronger, more valuable, and more antifragile together
English

@LukeDashjr @LorenHodl Bro, who the fuck are you anyway? Forkoff already and let Bitcoin carry on because as we all know it doesn't give a fuck.
English

@LorenHodl We're not asking miners' permission anymore.
They had their chance.
Mandatory signaling begins next month.
Any miners who don't by then just lose all their rewards.

@JoeNakamoto Telegram DMs asking you to be on a podcast is the latest trend. I said geee thanks but no thanks.
English

Important.
I had 3 calls scheduled this week with *trusted* people I hadn't spoken to in a while.
ALL THREE tried to hack my computer.
Really convincing: Fake Zoom/Teams call.
Every time there was a "bug" and I had to download something to fix it.
Today I downloaded the file. Opened it. I was ONE CLICK from running it.
(i'm tired okay)
If a meeting link asks you to download or update anything, stop.
Be really careful out there!

@BitmundFreud Hey @jackmallers how about giving the user the option to opt out of UKs commie laws. By all means comply as a legal entity operating in the UK but give the user the choice to actually comply, i.e. provide the senders info or not.
English

Someone sent me sats via Lightning on Strike (using Wallet of Satoshi).
Now Strike is demanding I provide the sender’s full name and surname, or they’ll send the funds back. How am I supposed to know the sender’s real name on a Lightning payment? This is ridiculous.
It’s Bitcoin, for god sake. Why is the platform forcing me to identify the sender or lose the sats? Has anyone else dealt with this on Strike? Is there better options in the UK that respect privacy and don’t treat every $5 transaction like a compliance investigation?
English

@joeroganhq And this is from the same twit that said Bitcoin was going to less than zero.

THE FACTS THEY LEAVE OUT
“The movie - "e'Lollipop", 1975 - Did you know? (Similar to the global Hit, Shaka Zulu, and Gods Must Be Crazy) 👉
In 1975, during the height of apartheid, an Afrikaner filmmaker named André Pieterse wrote and produced e'Lollipop, a film about the friendship between a black boy and a white boy in Lesotho. It became the highest-grossing South African film of its era. It opened a Cannes retrospective on South African cinema in 2004. The cast included Patrick Mynhardt, Naomi van Niekerk, Fanie Bekker, and Jan Bruyns alongside Muntu Ndebele and Norman Knox. Decades later, when Ndebele was found drug-addled and dying at 43kg in a derelict Hillbrow flat, it was Pieterse and Knox who found him, rehabilitated him, and gave him his life back.
An Afrikaner made the film. An Afrikaner saved the man. But tell that to the narrative that says apartheid-era South Africa produced nothing but racists. This film existed. These friendships were real. This story was told by Afrikaners, funded by Afrikaners, and carried by Afrikaners to international audiences while the world was told that no such thing was possible. That is the part they erase.”
