Our childhood was shaped by the warmth and strength of our parents, and that love still lives on in the bond we share as siblings. Thankful for @duttsanjay and Namrata, today and always. ❤️ #SiblingsDay

@PriyaDutt_INC @duttsanjay Your dad was stranded overnight in Gorakhpur during elections cause his helicopter couldn’t take off & he was put up in a medium class hotel.
We saw firsthand how @duttsanjay was calling him up every hour, and we arranged a Usha mobile handset for him .Your family is amazing 😻

My daughter Annika is proudly autistic and 12 years old.
She drew this butterfly from a photo she took herself — every vein, every scale, rendered by hand on a tablet.
She signs everything she makes. Dates it. Like she already knows it matters.
She's turning 13 tomorrow. Please share this for her birthday. Let's make her day.

Iran is whacking America and Israel, and negotiating on terms favourable to itself, and is redefining geopolitics for the next 50 years.
Pakistan is hosting the world leaders (this weekend) for a solution to the crisis, and everyone across Europe and otherwise is thanking it officially.
India, meanwhile, is asking America for a waiver to buy more Russian oil.
You just cannot make this up.
The mind boggles.
America is at its weakest, turning from a global to regional hegemon. India must assert, break free, and do whatever is best for itself, without seeking permissions. America is helpless. Don't let it continue the nonsense. In this massive geopolitical reset, do not hand yourself a poor hand.

Time is all that matters in the end
My mother passed away at the age of 91, bringing to a close a remarkable partnership of nearly 70 years with my father - a journey built on teamwork, sacrifice, discipline, and quiet dedication. As they say in cricket, when a long partnership is broken, the other partner often doesn’t last much longer at the crease. At 93, we knew the road ahead for my father would not be easy.
And that is when life, almost instinctively, shifted its priorities for me.
For the next five months after my mother left us, I stayed close - very close - to my father who was now alone and ailing.
I began to understand not just his needs, but his silences… his routines… his unspoken emotions... and his diminishing time .
I tried to serve him in every way I could.
But somewhere along the way, what I thought was duty quietly transformed into something far deeper - a bond stronger than anything we had perhaps built over the previous decades.
What made this possible was not money . It was time .
Time - the most precious asset we will ever own - was available to me in abundance, thanks to the financial freedom I had worked towards years ago. And in those final months, I realised that though money is important and can create comfort for us, but it is only the time that creates connections for us.
It was time that allowed me to sit beside him without rushing… to listen without distraction… to be present without compromise.
It allowed me not just to fulfil my responsibility as a son, but to experience the rare privilege of giving him a deeply peaceful and fulfilling goodbye.
Five months ago, my father lost his lifelong partner in my Mom. And just a few days ago, I lost my Dad.
But in between those two moments lies a phase of life that I will cherish forever.
Life has reinforced a lesson for me through this journey in the last five months.
Here is how it goes...
Don’t wait for someday to invest in relationships.
Build a life where you have the freedom to show up - fully, deeply, and without distraction - at least for the people who matter.
Because in the end, it is not the years in life that we count, but the presence we bring into those years.
Love you, Dad!
Om Shanti 💔

The Congress Working Committee (CWC) met today at Indira Bhawan, New Delhi, to take a decisive stand on the proposed amendments to the Women’s Reservation Bill. While the Congress has always championed the 33% quota, and the first to introduce a Bill and pass it in the Rajya Sabha in 2013, the current government’s approach raises serious alarms.
The CWC condemned the government’s unilateral and opaque push for amendments without consulting Opposition parties. The party flagged that rushing a delimitation exercise alongside the bill could have dangerous consequences for the democratic balance of our states, particularly in the South and Northeast. Many Congress leaders highlighted that the government originally delayed implementation until after the Census. Now, a "special session" is being used for political mileage ahead of state polls and with an eye on delimitation before the 2029 general election. @INCIndia remains committed to one-third reservation for women, but it must be inclusive and fair. The Amendment Bill should not be a political tool that undermines federalism and vitiates the vitality of Parliament as a deliberative body.
