This is a huge problem in gaming right now. A bunch of theater kids who couldnt break into Hollywood got jobs writing for game studios. But they dont give a shit about video games, they wanted to make movies. There is nothing wrong with games wanting to be cinematic but it has to be combined with good gameplay and most of these games are unplayable or glorified cut scene simulators.

Ngl pior cope que vejo quando o assunto é game design Se não tem o mínimo de estímulo para mudar a tática, qualquer jogador que foque em passar os desafios vão procurar a estratégia dominante e ficar nela. Sempre é o jeito mais fácil de passar o desafio.

Po não desejo desmerecer o trabalho. Mas Crimson Desert te larga no parquinho com 100 ferramentas, pra fazer os combos mais malucos possiveis, e você se prender ao fato que da pra ser efetivo usando apenas uma pá, é que você simplesmente não quer se divertir com o que o jogo te da.

@TenhaTV Hourly, it's just that better/more accomplished VOs usually get bigger roles (both in story importance and dialogue load). The difference in pay between named characters exists, but it's not that different. Celebrity voices usually are paid premium to be used as marketing though

I'm not sure how to feel about it; some people enjoy it, some don't. My personal opinion is that we should probably keep it only for funny moments and avoid letdowns as much as possible. However, we just ran out of time to think this through, in all honesty. I think it's important for us to clearly show that the game is in true early access, but I understand that constant reminders in the form of signs break immersion, and I agree, sometimes it leads to some disappointments, but to be fair, there are not that many in the world, only a few entrances and the Forgotten Temple. In total, I would say it's less than 1% of the prefabs that have this sign. One thing I noticed while watching people play is that the Klop Merchant in the Forgotten Temple should probably not sell signs and confuse players in their first-ever NPC interaction!
