And to think they were devastated to be separated during enlistment. But they each had a path to take to lead them right here 🥹 I think that’s one of the most profound things they taught me. That sometimes life doesn’t go as planned. Your paths diverge, you have to navigate your hurdles on your own and no matter how much you want it, you cannot travel the same journey. But all of that, happens for a reason. And that reason is that it was all necessary to bring you to right where you belong. And in their instance, it was back together. Stronger. Happier. I’m sorry. I’m emotional for no reason.

Finally had time this weekend! I’m a little shy to share, since I only took up drawing about a year ago and have barely dabbled with painting, but I’m having fun with it! I was scared to paint directly on my album, so I painted in my sketchbook 1st, then cut and glued it. 😊
