@UpscScreenshots Earlier they were not getting good genuine candidates. Now by luck by chance approach they will get officers who will administer by same approproach

Just an Honest Question. What exactly has changed after COVID that #UPSC is doing all this in Prelims? Questions were not of that level usually before COVID. Though they were tough as well,not in comparison,it is something different now. Earlier, what #Upsc used to think ? As a society nothing has changed in a decade. The working of Civil servants are more or less the same. Then,why do they think that aspirants now should be more mentally strong and hold the patience of higher standards ?

@Niharikam1 Upsc striking on its own foot. Excluding genuine aspirants.

I just went through the UPSC Prelims paper, and at this point, the exam feels more luck based than merit based. Random facts and data in name of current affairs. I just cannot justify it. And needless to say, asking ethics with a page long paragraphs is not done either.

I can guarantee that even an upsc chairman can't solve Prelims 2026 paper in one go.
