We had a great time last night welcoming in over 20 universities and apprenticeship providers for our Year 12 students to talk to, ask any burning questions, and find out more about potential future pathways!

Today we welcomed former student Clare Hadley into the Geography department. Our Year 12 Geographers spoke to Clare about where Geography has taken her, including working with the Ordinance Survey and the Royal Geographical Society. Thank you to Clare for giving up her time! 🌍

Well done to the Year 12 DofE Gold participant who successfully completed their training in the Peak District over Easter in preparation for their qualifying expedition in May!

It was so wonderful to be joined by former student Neha this morning as she talked to our Year 12 students about her experience so far on the BBC Apprenticeship scheme ❤️

This afternoon, I attended my old secondary school to present some of my PhD work. I had such a good time chatting to the students and providing them with some insight into mass spectrometry and metabolomics research in glioblastoma 🧠🥼👩🏻‍💻

Ms Hobson took a group of our Year 12 students to the Healthcare Spotlight Day at @AstonUniversity yesterday, giving them an insight into courses such as Audiology, Nursing, Optometry and Pharmacy!

Good morning all! Today we're proudly celebrating our Year 11 and 12 students for their amazing results in the British Physics Olympiad. Well done everyone!

Some of our A-Level Music students treated us to a gorgeous recital this afternoon as part of their Year 12 course. Emma with her flute and Cherish on the piano, both sounding utterly sublime!

All morning our Year 11 students have been taking part in taster sessions for potential A-Level options, with Physics, Economics, Psychology and Media Studies being amongst the most popular choices!

Good morning all! We're kicking off our Sixth Form taster day in the Chemistry department. Our Year 11 students are being introduced to the Ideal Gas Equation with Miss Duley and a mini practical demonstration!

Great news from the Maths department this morning as we congratulate the students that took part in the @UKMathsTrust Senior Maths Challenge and received certificates of qualification. Well done to Elizabeth, Leo, Jessica and Leyi in Year 13, and to Alice in Year 12!

It was wonderful to welcome back the A-Level Class of 2024 last night, celebrating their achievements, and hearing about their lives since leaving. We had the pleasure of being joined by 2019 Alumnus, Masooma, for an inspiring speech about her journey from student to Doctor.

Thank you to everyone that attended our Christmas Concert last night, showcasing the talents of students from across our school. It was a fabulously festive evening, even if the weather was less than wintery! During the interval raised a wonderful £234 for @TrussellUK

For our final @CreativeCareer5 talk, our students were joined by Sutton Girls' Alumna, Lucy, who shared her passion for storytelling & how it informs her career in Social Media! Students then planned an open day campaign to get them thinking about engagement, data & best practice

For our second @CreativeCareer5 instalment, our GCSE and A-Level musicians were invited to a talk by Francis Faux - Musician about his passion for choral music and his fascinating career!

Earlier this morning, our A-Level artists were joined by Professor Jennifer Powell, Director for @BarberInstitute, for a discussion about her incredible career in the museums industry, and sharing her passion for all things art and sculpture!
