eerily "ordinary" life celebrated in Jim Jarmusch's haunting minimalist film "Paterson" which I have seen several times & always feel such loss when it ends--as it does, quietly & powerfully. in its way this is an audacious film, an experiment in slow/cyclical/Zen time at a time when movies are primarily action, fast-time, special effects. but then, it's a film about poetry, specifically the vessel bearing poetry which is "ordinary" life heightened by observation. much love William Carlos Williams also--"No ideas but in things." the original "Paterson"--homage to Paterson NJ.
